Strawberry Shortcake Baking Party

On Wednesday, Our Sweet Pea turned four. She woke up to a surprise in her doorway

Then after we dropped off the boy at school, we were off for a treat...cupcakes for breakfast! Birthday Cupcake for her. Coffee & Doughnuts Cupcake for me.

We met her birthday twin at Crave Bake Shop. I love these kids!

Crave Bake Shop won Food Network's Cupcake Wars!

The rest of the day was pretty low key. But Saturday was the big day...

The Strawberry Shortcake Birthday Party!

Here are some photos from the day (you'll notice, Sweet Pea's name is blurred or removed. I'm pretty intentional about not mentioning names here).

Front porch upon arrival

ruffle aprons!
Snacks!

gettin' ready to bake
makin' shortcake

While the shortcake bakes, we played a little game of "hot potato"

They were very focused

All the girls got to take home their hats, aprons and a little bakery box of goodies

It was such a fun time! My mom helped me make the aprons and was an extra pair of hands at the party. I couldn't have done it without her. Thanks Mom!! You're the best!

It's a learning program for little princess. It's an amazing theme for kids.

This party is darling! I love the cupcake liner garland and on the chef's hat. Can I ask where you purchased the chef hats or did you make them?

Mackie, I got them from a company called Growing Cooks. Here is the website: http://www.growingcooks.com/paperchefhats.html

I added the names and flowers (made from cupcake liners).

Amazon and Oriental Trading also carries the hats.

Thanks for popping in!
