Our sweet baby girl was just getting over an ear infection, so I was a little nervous on how she was going to do on the flight, but she slept pretty much the entire time! AWESOME!
first flight! |
Once we got into LA, we drove about 2 hours to Palm Springs. On our way we saw LOTS of windmills
We checked into our condo, got settled, grabbed some sandwiches for dinner and then went to bed.
The next day we ended up moving from our studio condo to a 1-bedroom. Here's a few views from our balcony. On the right...
and on the left...
Baby girl approves.
It really was the perfect location.
After seeing that the new digs had a nice kitchen set up, we headed out to the store to get some food for the week. And of course we stopped at In-n-Out for lunch!
The rest of our time in Palm Springs was really relaxing...lots of pool time, a visit with my grandparents, some family bowling and lots of good food.
She loved the water! We couldn't keep her away from it.
We also had some Chicago-style deep dish pizza and it was amazing...and HUGE!
One of the days was a little cloudy, so we went bowling.
look at her sassy little stance! she did that after every turn...hahaha! |
The boy got pretty competitive, but in the end, he tied for 1st place with daddy and sweet pea and I tied too!!
we didn't set that up...for reals! |
At the end of our game, we squeezed into a photo booth and took these...
Pretty funny.
On our last night in Palm Springs, we had dinner at PF Changs and took the kids out for ice cream...
And that was our Palm Springs vaycay. Warm, relaxing and fun! I'm still going through lots of Disneyland pictures. I will share soon!
