DIY Gifts for Kids

Christmas is just around the corner and we always try to do some sort of personal, homemade gifts for our kids. And now that our kids are getting a little older, they love getting in on the action too!

Last year, Sweet Pea made her brother Homemade Gak and it was, hands down, his favorite gift. It provided hours of fun!

You could also make a Gak kit for your kiddos to make themselves.

Here are a few other ideas that would be a hit...

Our girls would love this Olaf Snow Globe!

A finger puppet kit would be an adorable gift or stocking stuffer. This one is adorable and even comes with printable gift box!

This paper doll kit is so cute! Print out the paper dolls, package up assorted fabrics, markers/crayons, tacky glue, buttons, gem, sequins ans scissors.

These build-a-monster printables would be perfect to pair with a Monsters Inc. or Monster's University DVD. SO cute!

I loved making friendship bracelets as a kid. This kit would be perfect for a tween! Comes with a printable too!

Make a sparkling salt dough kit or make ornaments out of the dough. Would make a fun grandparent gift from the kiddos.

This Candy Cane Playdough would be the perfect gift for toddlers!

This Firefly Craft Kit would be easy to put together! All you need is a bottle (recycled water bottle or glass bottle with a cork), tissue paper squares, black pipe cleaner, googly eyes paper for wings and light sticks.

I love this colorful Japanese Flying Carp Craft! All you'd need to include for this little craft kit is toilet paper rolls, double sided tape, tissue paper, white paper, scissors and twine.

All of these would be great gifts for kids BY kids. They get a kick our of putting gifts together for their siblings and cousins.

What would you add to this list?
