Teacher Thank You Craft

For most people in our community, school is out today, however my son is not done until next week. As a thank you to his preschool teacher, we made this little craft:

I wish I could say I came up with this idea all on my own, but someone emailed me a photo of it a while back and I knew I had to make one too! All you need is a shadowbox, some crayons, a glue gun, scissors or sharp knife and a printout with your child's teacher's name.

I got this shadowbox at a rummage sale for $2...BONUS!

Then, simply cut the crayons to size and glue on top of the large letter. Have your child sign the bottom and place the paper in the shadowbox.

And you're done!

UPDATE: I was able to find another example on Pinterest. Check it out here.

Great idea! Love the colors the crayons bring to the project and how crisp the black and white look together.
